Job Title: Weekend Forklift Operator
Location: Fargo
Pay: $23 per hour
Schedule: Friday – Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
About the Position
Kelly is hiring a Weekend Forklift Operator for our client’s warehouse. In this role, you will operate sit-down forklifts and reach trucks to move, stack, and count merchandise. You’ll help keep the warehouse running smoothly, safely, and accurately.
What You’ll Do
- Operate sit-down forklifts and reach trucks safely and efficiently.
- Move, stack, and store merchandise in assigned areas.
- Unload inbound shipments and move items to storage locations.
- Pull and prepare products for shipment based on customer needs.
- Confirm correct product types and quantities are shipped.
- Use RF scanners and maintain basic inventory paperwork.
- Assist with physical and cycle inventory counts.
- Rotate inventory and report discrepancies.
- Keep your work area clean and safe.
- Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of sit-down forklift and reach truck experience (required)
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math and computer skills (including Excel).
- Effective customer service skills.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and reach for up to 10–12 hours per shift.
- Able to lift and pull 10–50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in changing warehouse conditions (noise, lighting, temperature).
- Flexible and willing to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.
