Location: Minden, NV
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Pay Range: $20.00–$24.33 per hour, DOE (Depending on Experience)

Position Summary
Under the direction of the Shipping Supervisor, the Shipping Clerk is responsible for preparing, inspecting, packaging, and processing products for shipment while ensuring accuracy, quality, and on-time delivery. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient shipping operations and supporting overall production goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform final assembly of valve products prior to shipment.
- Package valves and components appropriately to prevent damage during transit.
- Conduct final quality inspections on products before shipment and report any issues to management.
- Process shipping documentation and enter shipping information accurately into company systems.
- Coordinate with freight carriers to schedule pickups and ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Work closely with the Shipping Supervisor to ensure customer orders are shipped according to schedule.
- Maintain inventory of designated shipping materials and components.
- Monitor and operate department equipment safely and effectively, including cardboard baling equipment.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures, including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with weekly inventory counts and shortage reporting.
- Provide coverage for receiving operations during employee absences.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing setting
- Basic computer skills with the ability to learn shipping software and related systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Dependable, flexible, and capable of exercising sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to learn product information, part names, and part numbers.
- Ability to safely use various hand tools and department equipment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to push carts weighing up to 1,000 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment while following all company safety standards.
