Mechanical Assembler (1st shift)
– Location: Kalamazoo, MI 49001
– Work Schedule: Mon to Fri / 1st Shift: 7 am -3 pm
– Pay rate: 17$ per hour
– Contract: W2 under staffing supplier; with a 3-month duration (possible extension according to performance)
Role Overview
The primary focus of this position is to construct, assemble, or rebuild equipment while operating basic machinery and following established operational processes.
Key Responsibilities

Operations & Assembly: Run basic equipment, execute routine tasks, and support equipment maintenance and repairs.

Compliance & Safety: Adhere to strict health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, following all internal and external regulatory codes.

Communication: Maintain courteous and effective information sharing with team members.
Preferred Experience & Skills

Experience: High School Diploma / GED and/or 0–2 years of relevant experience (entry-level).

Technical Skills: Basic understanding of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and equipment optimization.

Core Competencies: Elementary verbal communication, basic planning and prioritization skills, and the ability to follow organizational policies and safety procedures with guidance.
