Position: Warehouse Material Handler (HiLo)

Industry: Manufacturing / Adhesives
Location: Walker, MI
Pay Rate: $23 / hour
Shift: Night Shift – 6 PM – 6:30 AM
Schedule: The 2-2-3 Rotation

  • Week 1: Work Tuesday & Wednesday; Off Thursday & Friday; Work Saturday, Sunday, & Monday.

  • Week 2: Off Tuesday & Wednesday; Work Thursday & Friday; Off Saturday, Sunday, & Monday.

  • Note: Candidates hired for the night shift will begin their training and regular duties on the night schedule.

Job Summary
Our client is a leading adhesives provider focusing on perfecting adhesives and sealants across all industries throughout the world. 

This immediate opportunity in Walker, MI, offers a dynamic work environment with the potential for transition onto our clients W2 after contract completion.

Role Description:

  • Prepare raw materials and packaging by identifying and transporting the correct quantities to the production area, reporting any deviations, and documenting processes.

  • Consistently maintain material levels for all machines and mixers

  • Repack materials; direct hands-on material handling

  • Monitor equipment to ensure smooth operations and maintain desired production rates.

  • Consistent and efficient hi-lo operations

  • Check labels and packaging materials to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.

  • Package final products in line with high-quality expectations.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

  • Follow all company safety, environmental, and quality standards.

  • Complete additional duties as requested by the Production Manager or Supervisor.

Required Skills:

  • Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting is required.

  • Packout and general operation support experience.

  • Chemical and specialized mixing experience is a priority

  • Periodically wear a respirator.

  • Ability to read and comprehend work orders, safety regulations, and quality procedures.

  • Experience in an industrial environment and warehouse operations
