Schedule

Monday – Thursday, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm
Availability for overtime on Friday and Saturday required


Job Summary

Kelly Services is seeking motivated Assembly Workers to join our team in Mesquite, Texas! As an assembler, you’ll work on the assigned production line, following SOPs for specific assignments. You’ll measure, cut, and assemble door units, assist with manual labor tasks, and work in Patio Stock, Interior Stock, or Entry Stock areas. Immediate supervision and a supportive team environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Verify materials by reading bill of materials

  • Ensure materials meet quality expectations

  • Palletize, wrap, and label units as required

  • Assemble fabricated parts into subassemblies and complete units

  • Test and calibrate parts to meet tolerances and product specs

  • Follow detailed instructions and guidelines

  • Ensure all components are placed correctly per SOP

  • Repeat assembly tasks until the door stack is complete

  • Clean work area at shift end

  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment

Qualifications & Skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong verbal and written communication

  • Knowledge of commonly-used manufacturing concepts & procedures

  • Solid analytical skills & knowledge of door components

  • Proficiency with manual machines and pneumatic tools (Nail Gun, Screw Gun, Router, Tape Measure, Square)

  • Must stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions (bending, squatting, pushing, pulling)

  • Ability to organize and maintain detailed records

  • Thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment

  • Read and understand bill of materials

  • Capable of working in various weather and temperature conditions (including extreme heat, humidity, and cold)

  • Ability to read a tape measure; basic math skills required

  • Preferably 1–2 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting
