Position Title: QC Analyst I – Quality Control

Location: Newark, DE

Schedule: Rotating Shifts (12-hour shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week; day and night shifts required)

Position Overview:
As a QC Analyst I within our Quality Control team, you will play a key role in supporting the manufacturing process by performing analytical testing on finished products, in-process materials, and raw material samples within our chemistry laboratory. Your work will ensure that products consistently meet stringent specifications for quality and safety, supporting both regulatory compliance and consumer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate and timely routine testing of samples in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Maintain, calibrate, and perform routine troubleshooting and maintenance on laboratory instruments and equipment.

  • Prepare, qualify, and handle reagents according to established protocols.

  • Analyze and document test results using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), reporting findings to relevant stakeholders and presenting data as necessary.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the QC lab by ensuring data integrity and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

  • Flexibly work various rotating shifts (days/nights) as scheduled to support continuous operations.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required; Associate of Applied Science degree in Chemical Technology, Microbiology, or a related discipline preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

  • 6 months to 2 years of experience in a GMP laboratory environment, with hands-on exposure to chemistry lab preferred.

  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment, analytical methods, and quality assurance principles.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong mathematical and analytical problem-solving skills; proficiency with laboratory calculations.

  • Computer literate; experienced with MS Office, email communication, and web-based applications.

  • High attention to detail, excellent organization, and commitment to maintaining accurate records.

  • Effective communicator and collaborative team player.
