Job Posting: Maintenance / Forklift Operator / Laborer (Long-Term Temp Role) – North Skull Valley, UT 84029

Pay Rate: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Location: North Skull Valley, UT 84029
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Requirements: Background Check & Drug Test Required
Type: Long-Term Contract 

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Maintenance / Forklift Operator / Laborer to join our team for day shift operations. This is a long-term temporary role with competitive pay based on experience.

We need someone who can work self-directed, is detail-oriented, and ready to troubleshoot, operate, and maintain industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklift to safely load and unload trucks (Class IV and RTFL required)

  • Safely operate a Rough Terrain Forklift and skid steer for site upkeep and stormwater management

  • Perform basic electrical troubleshooting, preventative and corrective maintenance on:

    • Fire Protection Systems (inspections and testing)

    • HVAC units (changing filters, adjusting belts, motor/fan maintenance)

    • Site mobile equipment

    • Site emergency lighting systems


  • Complete janitorial/groundskeeping tasks to keep the plant clean and professional, including sweeping, mopping, cleaning windows, walls, and restrooms

  • Manage site inventory with periodic physical counts

  • Utilize basic computer skills to complete and report on work orders (CMMS experience preferred)

  • Work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing/industrial environment

  • Manage tasks independently and adapt quickly in emergencies

Minimum Qualifications

  • Certified forklift operator (Class IV and RTFL)

  • Ability to safely operate a skid steer

  • Able to lift 40–50 lbs

  • Basic mechanical and electrical maintenance skills

  • Ability to complete work orders in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

  • Self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented

  • Flexibility to change schedules in emergencies
