Job Description

Pitney Bowes Presort Services LLC is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Worker / Maintenance Technician for 3rd shift at our Levittown, PA facility. This is a hands-on role performing routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on production machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic, preventive, and corrective maintenance on various production machinery and equipment

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems (includes motors, relays, sensors, phot-eyes, drive assemblies)

  • Use basic and advanced hand tools as required for repairs and installations

  • Read and interpret schematics, charts, service manuals, and parts diagrams

  • Evaluate equipment issues, propose solutions, and complete timely repairs

  • Document work performed in accordance with company standards

  • Work both independently and collaboratively within the maintenance team

  • Stand and move for the duration of the shift

  • Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Technical background required; formal technical training or prior maintenance experience is a plus

  • 0–20 years of relevant experience accepted (entry-level to highly experienced are encouraged to apply)

  • Basic knowledge and use of hand tools

  • Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities

  • Experience with a multi-meter for electrical troubleshooting

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents (schematics, diagrams, service manuals, etc.)

  • Familiarity with pneumatic components, motors, sensors, and related equipment preferred

  • Must be detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable

  • Effective communication skills

  • Able to work overnight and adaptable to 3rd shift schedule

  • Must be able to stand and be on feet throughout the shift
