Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Company: Kelly Services
Location: Onsite — Toledo, OH
Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday); Temp to Hire
Schedule: Must be open to work one of the following shifts:

  • 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
    Pay Rate: $20 per hour

About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact to address customer needs and create solutions in the best interest of our customers and the company. You’ll engage directly with customers and collaborate with internal partners to make us the supplier of choice. This is a team-oriented role within Customer Operations as a part of the Supply Chain Team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver consistent, quality service to customers

  • Seek every opportunity to “sell” to the customer and create win/win solutions

  • Accurately enter customer orders

  • Build close relationships and develop customer trust by following through on commitments

  • Leverage relationships and product training to gain market insights

  • Use Lean Sigma tools to support a waste-free environment

  • Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities

  • Promote the use of customer tools and technology

  • Implement and adhere to all safety policies and participate in safety action planning

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment

  • Experience creating business/customer solutions

  • SAP experience desired

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Strong communication and listening skills

  • Supportive and adaptive to change management initiatives

  • Supply chain and/or building materials industry knowledge preferred
