Available Shifts
- Day Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Swing Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:25 PM – 1:55 AM
- Weekend Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Position Summary
We are seeking experienced CNC Machinists with strong 3-axis machining experience. Candidates with Haas or Fanuc controls experience and setup expertise are highly preferred. This role is ideal for motivated machinists who thrive in a precision aerospace environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines per blueprints and specifications
- Work with lathes, grinders, multi-axis mills, and related equipment
- Select, align, and secure tooling, fixtures, and materials
- Perform manual inspections using calipers, micrometers, and similar tools
- Identify and troubleshoot machining issues; adjust machine settings as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Support training and mentorship of junior machinists and program participants
- Demonstrate strong work ethic and professionalism
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience running 3-axis CNC machines
- Experience with Haas or Fanuc controls preferred
- Proven experience with machine setup, including probing and manual indexing (required)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Strong inspection and measurement skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with 4-axis and 5-axis machining (highly desirable)
- Background in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing
Basic Requirements
- Minimum 2 years as a fully qualified machinist
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CNC training program participation is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to mentor and support new employees
