Location: Suwanee, GA
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to join our team in Suwanee, GA. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, inventorying, preparing, and distributing equipment and supplies while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, verify, and stock incoming materials and supplies.
- Package and prepare equipment and supplies for distribution.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment and delivery.
- Complete and maintain accurate distribution forms, requisitions, purchase orders, and packing slips.
- Perform quality assurance checks on products prior to stocking and distribution.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors of stock shortages.
- Assist with ordering equipment and supplies to maintain inventory levels.
- Support cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Clean, sanitize, and sterilize medical equipment.
- Perform minor equipment repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Maintain accurate equipment records and documentation.
- Identify and correct discrepancies in inventory records and paperwork.
- Escalate concerns and operational issues to management when necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or inventory experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld electronic devices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management practices.
- Experience with inventory management software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of DOT and FDA regulations.
- Experience within the healthcare or home healthcare industry.
- Two or more years of inventory management experience.
- Customer service experience interacting with the public.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, and lift throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 60 pounds independently and up to 160 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to push and pull carts, dollies, and equipment safely.
- Ability to climb stairs and occasionally use ladders.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety shoes, gloves, eye protection, and respiratory protection when necessary.
Work Environment
- Warehouse environment with varying noise levels.
- Exposure to dust, cleaning agents, fumes, and warehouse equipment.
- Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Use of warehouse tools, material handling equipment, and cleaning equipment.
