Kelly Services is hiring a Metal Recycling Associate for a full-time opportunity in Bloomfield, NY.

This hands-on position is ideal for candidates with warehouse, recycling, scrap metal, manufacturing, or general labor experience. The role involves sorting and processing recyclable metals, preparing materials for shipment, and supporting warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

• Monday-Thursday: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM- 3 day weekend!
  

• 40 hours per week

Pay:

• $18.00-$20.00 per hour ( based on experience)

Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

Job Responsibilities:

• Sort and separate ferrous and non-ferrous metals
  

• Identify materials such as aluminum, copper, brass, stainless steel, and other recyclable metals
  

• Dismantle, stack, and prepare materials for shipment
  

• Build and organize metal pallets
  

• Assist with inventory organization and material movement
  

• Maintain a clean and safe work area
  

• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE
  

• Support warehouse operations as needed

Requirements:

• Previous scrap metal, recycling, warehouse, manufacturing, construction, demolition, or general labor experience preferred
  

• Ability to identify different types of metals is a plus
  

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift
  

• Comfortable working in a dusty, noisy, and non-climate-controlled warehouse environment
  

• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout a 10-hour shift
  

• Reliable transportation required
  

• Steel-toe or composite-toe footwear required
  

• Strong attendance and dependability
