Kelly is hiring an Assembly Technician on behalf of a global leader in gear pumps, pelletizing systems, and filtration technology serving the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries.

Monday – Friday
7:00 AM – 3:00 PM + Overtime
Includes a paid 30-minute lunch
Competitive Pay + Plus 3% Annual Bonus Potential
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, blueprints, layout drawings, and electrical prints
- Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies according to specifications
- Measure and inspect parts using micrometers, feeler gauges, and other precision instruments
- Understand assembly tolerances and verify compliance with specifications
- Install and connect pneumatic components including cylinders, valves, regulators, and controls
- Work with threaded and welded pipe, fittings, valves, and related hardware
- Run conduit, mount junction boxes, pull wire, and terminate electrical connections according to drawings
- Accurately document labor hours, production data, and quality information
- Report discrepancies related to bills of materials (BOMs), work orders, or production processes
- Safely operate overhead cranes utilizing slings, straps, and lifting devices
- Position and install components through lifting, bending, kneeling, and overhead work
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of basic mechanical principles
- Experience using hand tools in mechanical, maintenance, assembly, or millwright environments preferred
- Mechanics or Millwright coursework is a plus, but not required
- Overhead crane experience is a plus, but not required
- Forklift experience preferred; training will be provided after hire
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and climbing
- Ability to work overhead and in confined positions when assembling equipment
- Frequent use of hands and arms for assembly and material handling
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and complete company-provided forklift certification training
- Strong visual abilities including close vision, distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and color recognition
