Kelly Science is seeking a Quality Technician for a growing company located in Rochester, NY.
Pay: $25-35/hour depending on experience and shift
Shift: 2nd or 3rd shift
Employment Type: Contract-to-hire
Summary:
You will play a key role in making sure company products meet all quality and safety standards. You’ll work directly on the production floor, reviewing documents, inspecting products, checking labels, and helping with release and inspection activities to support patient safety. This is a hands-on position that requires great attention to detail and a passion for quality.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform quality inspections and review batch records on production lines
- Verify cleanings and line clearance have been completed
- Check differential pressures and ensure they’re within limits
- Inspect labels and complete real-time quality checks during production
- Assist with product release and handle quality investigations when issues arise
- Support routine media fills on BFS lines
- Conduct regular inspections of production areas
- Participate in internal audits
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or related field preferred
- At least 2–5 years’ experience in an FDA-regulated pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing environment
