Hospitality Associate – Visitor Center
Pay is $17.00/hour-40 hours per week: Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sat 9:00-4:00- the working hours will be 8:15-5:00. Sunday hours will be 11:15-4:30.
Role:
Delivers outstanding guest service in retail, hospitality, and visitor center operations. Acts as the first point of contact, ensuring a high-end, memorable experience for every visitor while supporting daily operations and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process sales, reservations, and retail transactions; handle cash and inventory.
- Maintain merchandise displays and process online orders.
- Guide guests through experiences, handle inquiries, and resolve issues.
- Assist with events, set-up, logistics, and facility cleanliness.
- Support marketing activities and uphold food safety and quality standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED and entry-level experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service.
- Must be 21+ (or 18+ depending on state/local laws).
- Strong communication, math, and basic computer skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Able to work flexible hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and complete background/drug screening.
- Occasional travel for meetings/training.
- No supervisory duties.
Preferred:
Experience in tourism, visitor services, or sales; knowledge of products.
Work Environment:
Combination of indoor/outdoor and production settings with some physical activity and occasional exposure to varied conditions. Reasonable accommodations provided as needed.
