Quality Assurance Coordinator – Baldwin Park, CA
Pay: $23.00 – $25.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Coordinator to support quality operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for inspecting finished products, identifying nonconforming materials, maintaining quality documentation, and ensuring products meet customer and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections on finished products to verify compliance with specifications.

  • Complete quality documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Identify, label, and segregate nonconforming products while documenting quality issues.

  • Report quality concerns to production and technical teams as they occur.

  • Utilize inspection equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, optical comparators, and gauges.

  • Support quality investigations, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Partner with production and quality teams to maintain product quality standards.

  • Follow all safety, quality, and operating procedures.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional college coursework preferred.

  • 1-2 years of quality inspection experience in medical device, plastics, manufacturing, or a related industry.

  • Experience inspecting molded components and documenting nonconformances.

  • Knowledge of SPC, control plans, and quality inspection processes is a plus.

  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and quality specifications.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
