Kelly Services is seeking a skilled Process Equipment Technician to join a leading manufacturing team in Clayton, NC. In this role, you will focus on enhancing process systems and equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and providing critical support to operations.

 Process Equipment Technician – 1st Shift
Location: Clayton, NC
Pay Rate: $26.50 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Work safely and uphold environmental and safety standards
  

• Improve performance and reliability of process equipment
  

• Troubleshoot, repair, and restore equipment efficiently
  

• Participate in event response and resolution
  

• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance
  

• Operate, monitor, and control assigned systems and equipment
  

• Support reliability improvement projects
  

• Maintain accurate production data in BPRs and related forms
  

• Collaborate with the team and assist in all process operations
  

• Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Move supplies or equipment up to 33 lbs
  

• Operate and inspect manufacturing equipment using hands
  

• Stand or walk for up to 12-hour shifts
  

• Occasionally climb ladders and work at heights
  

• Work in noisy environments (hearing protection provided)
  

• May handle odorous or hazardous materials (PPE provided)
  

• May work in extreme cold or confined spaces
  

• May require latex gloves

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in a relevant technical field, or equivalent military/industrial training required
  

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
  

• Knowledge of Compressed Air, Electro-Mechanical Controls, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, and Robotics preferred
  

• Familiarity with SAP, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documents preferred
  

• Computer literacy preferred
  

• Experience supporting process functions and maintenance coordination is a plus
