Pay: $35.00 – $38.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Process Technician to join a growing medical device manufacturing team. This position plays a critical role in supporting engineering and validation activities by executing process development, engineering runs, and validation runs while ensuring accurate documentation and process optimization. The ideal candidate will have strong injection molding expertise, experience with Scientific Injection Molding principles, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and production teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Set up injection molding machines, molds, robotics, and auxiliary equipment for engineering and validation runs.

  • Execute process development activities using Scientific Injection Molding principles.

  • Collect, document, and analyze critical process data and inspection samples during engineering runs.

  • Partner with Project Engineers to ensure engineering and validation protocols are executed accurately and efficiently.

  • Troubleshoot molding processes, equipment, and production-related issues.

  • Document protocol execution, process changes, observations, and recommendations.

  • Support mold evaluations and provide feedback regarding tooling performance and improvements.

  • Train operators, packaging personnel, and junior team members on processes and procedures.

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Tooling, Validation, and Production teams to meet project objectives.

  • Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with all SOPs, quality standards, and manufacturing procedures.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree in Engineering or related field preferred.

  • Minimum 4 years of injection molding process development and troubleshooting experience.

  • Strong knowledge of thermoplastic and LSR injection molding, Scientific Injection Molding principles, and process optimization.

  • Experience with injection molding machines, robotics, EOATs, auxiliary equipment, and automated molding systems.

  • Ability to troubleshoot molding processes, read blueprints and technical documents, and document process data accurately.

  • Medical device manufacturing and cleanroom experience preferred.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and cross-functional communication in a manufacturing environment.
