Job Title: Production Operator – Reclaim Grinder
Location: Tallmadge, Ohio 44278
Industry: Manufacturing / Production
Employment Type: Contract
Compensation: $19 per hour
Schedule: 3rd shift; Monday-Friday11:00 pm to 7:00 am
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Production Associate – Reclaim Grinder Operator. The primary objective of this position is to manage and safely operate the Reclaim Grinding Equipment in our manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Comply with all plant rules and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Adhere to daily attendance requirements as per plant attendance policy
- Maintain good housekeeping in all areas of the plant
- Know location of all jam-up and emergency stop buttons; use phone paging system when necessary
- Operate board grinders and prepare/feed scrap products
- Operate compactor equipment and associated tasks
- Complete all other duties as assigned or required
Essential Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Routinely lift up to 55 lbs. without assistance
- Work up to 12+ hours in hot or cold manufacturing environments
- Walk/stand continuously on concrete floors for up to 12 hours
- Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): steel-toed shoes, eye protection (glasses, goggles, or facemask), hearing protection, and long-sleeved shirt (with shirt tail tucked in) as required
- Utilize cleaning equipment/tools for housekeeping duties (in accordance with safety rules)
- Ability to work overtime as necessary
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in manufacturing or production environment is a plus
- Ability to follow safety rules and procedures
- Strong attendance record
