Location: Sumner, WA
Shift: 2nd Shift – Monday through Thurs, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Pay Rate: $24.48/hr (Base $22.25 + 10% shift differential)
Employment Type: Contract / Temp-to-Hire Opportunity


Job Overview

We are hiring a Stores Clerk for a 2nd shift opportunity in Sumner, WA. This role is responsible for managing inventory, preparing shipments, and supporting the storage and movement of finished parts in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy are essential for success in this role.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage outgoing shipments and inventory of completed parts

  • Prepare and organize shipping documentation and work orders

  • Pull inventory from storage locations based on shipping schedules

  • Determine shipping methods and ensure proper packaging of materials

  • Assemble or select containers and secure items for shipment (including crating and banding)

  • Label and mark containers with accurate shipping information

  • Maintain inventory of shipping supplies and materials

  • Support meeting daily shipping deadlines and production goals

  • Ensure accuracy in all shipping and inventory transactions

  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of inventory, warehouse, or shipping/receiving experience preferred

  • Basic math and strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Basic computer skills (ERP systems experience preferred)

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling

  • Work in a manufacturing/warehouse environment with noise and production activity

  • Must follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
