We’re looking for motivated individuals to join a leading distribution center as a Warehouse Selector in Salem, VA. Take a closer look at this exciting opportunity; it could be the next step in your journey.

Position Details:

  • Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

  • Contract Length: 90 days, with potential for extension or permanent hire

  • Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 5pm–1am (or until work is finished). Rapid, consistent pace required throughout the shift, moving 1,000+ cases each day.

Your Daily Responsibilities:

  • Operate a center ride electric pallet jack to move products in a fast-paced warehouse

  • Pick, label, and palletize products accurately using RF label technology

  • Work across multi-temperature environments (dry, cooler, freezer: -5°F to 100+°F)

  • Stage and stretch-wrap pallets for delivery to the docks

  • Inspect equipment before and after use, following all safety protocols

  • Meet or exceed productivity and accuracy targets

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • At least 6 months’ recent experience in physically demanding roles (warehouse, distribution, construction, fitness, etc.)

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 20 to 80+ lbs. repeatedly

  • Experience operating motorized pallet jacks or similar equipment

  • Comfort working in varying temperature environments

  • Reliability, strong work ethic, and ability to maintain a fast, steady pace throughout the shift

  • Basic math skills and a commitment to safety
