Job details

Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality assurance, quality control, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple manufacturing operations. This leadership role will be responsible for maintaining and improving the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, driving a proactive quality culture, and ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities.

  • Own and maintain the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS), including audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Drive root cause analysis, CAPA, risk mitigation, and defect reduction efforts.

  • Develop and implement quality strategies that improve operational performance and customer satisfaction.

  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to improve processes and product quality.

  • Lead internal and external audits and ensure ongoing compliance with industry standards and certifications.

  • Manage, mentor, and develop quality personnel while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, and statistical analysis tools to drive quality performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Operations, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of progressive quality leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.

  • Proven success leading quality improvement initiatives and cross-functional teams.

  • Experience with APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, supplier quality, and reliability methodologies is preferred.

  • Hands-on experience with quality and statistical tools such as Minitab, Weibull, Reliasoft, or similar.

  • Experience with manufactured components, machined parts, assemblies, castings, and industrial products is highly desired.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
