Job Title: Production Inspector
Location: Melrose Park, IL
Shift: 5:45 PM – 6:15 AM (Third Shift, Nights C/D)
Pay: $19.75/hour (includes $1.75 shift differential)
Contract: 3-month W2 position (through staffing supplier)
Join our team as a Production Inspector! In this fast-paced warehouse role, you’ll ensure product quality by visually inspecting items as they come off the filling line and keeping accurate records. This position is 100% onsite and is ideal for entry-level candidates looking to start an essential role at our Melrose Park facility. Overtime and extension/possible conversion to full-time employment may be considered based on business needs and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visually inspect products according to standard operating procedures
- Identify and document product defects
- Complete quality checks and maintain accurate records/documentation
- Set up, adjust, and operate machinery for filling operations
- Perform start-up procedures for filling
- Load and unload products
- Move, stack, and wrap pallets as needed
- Perform quality document checks
Requirements:
- HS Diploma or GED
- Strong attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Visual ability to detect defective product
- Inspection or warehouse experience preferred (pharmaceutical experience a plus, but not required)
