Kelly Services is hiring for a Kits Assembly & Packaging Associate opening in the Hoopeston / Danville area.

This is a steady production and packaging role where you will help assemble, package, label, count, and organize product kits. The work is straightforward, but it still requires strong attendance, attention to detail, and the ability to keep pace throughout the shift.

This is a temporary assignment expected to last approximately 6–12 weeks, with the possibility of extension through the end of the year or hire-on consideration based on attendance, performance, business need, and overall reliability.

Job Details

Pay: $15.00/hr
Location: Hoopeston / Danville area, IL
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 7:00 AM–4:30 PM & Friday | 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Overtime: Mandatory overtime may be required when production needs increase
Assignment Type: Temporary with possible extension or hire-on consideration
Pay Frequency: Weekly pay through Kelly Services

What You’ll Do

Assemble product kits according to instructions
Package, label, count, and organize finished items
Place materials on the line and keep work areas supplied
Check kits for missing, damaged, or incorrect items
Move completed product to the correct staging area
Keep packaging materials and finished goods organized
Maintain a clean and safe production area
Assist nearby production or packaging departments as needed

Assembly
Kitting

Warehouse support
Labeling
Material handling
Repetitive line-based work

Strong candidates will have:

Recent packaging, assembly, production, or warehouse experience preferred
Good attendance and reliable transportation
Ability to follow directions and stay focused
Comfort standing and performing repetitive hand work
Willingness to help wherever production needs support
Interest in proving themselves for possible long-term opportunity

What to Be Ready For

This role may involve:

Standing for most of the shift
Repetitive hand work
Counting, labeling, packing, and organizing items
Working at a steady production pace
Mandatory overtime when required
Helping in nearby production or packaging areas
Following attendance and safety expectations closely

This is not the best fit for someone who calls off often, dislikes repetitive work, or cannot stay focused during a full production shift.
