In this position, you will be the first point of contact for the office while also providing essential administrative support behind the scenes. It is a role that blends customer service with organization and problem solving, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and likes variety in their day.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Pay range: $19 to $21 per hour
Assignment length: 6-8 weeks estimated
What you will be doing
- Greet visitors, employees, vendors, and guests and create a welcoming experience from the moment they arrive
- Answer and route incoming calls with professionalism and attention to detail
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, conference rooms, and visitor accommodations
- Communicate upcoming visits and activity so internal teams are prepared
- Help keep the facility running smoothly by staying aware of general needs and sharing updates or issues
- Support administrative work such as invoices, mail, and general office tasks
- Assist with scheduling needs and day to day coordination
- Help with equipment shipping documentation and nameplate related tasks
- Provide basic support for printers and common office equipment
What we are looking for
- Previous office administrative work experience
- Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to help stay ahead of the day-to-day needs of the office and facility
- Comfort level interacting with employees and visitors
