Job details
We are seeking skilled MIG Welders / Fabricators with strong fabrication experience to manufacture, assemble, and repair metal products. Candidates should be comfortable reading blueprints, using welding/fabrication equipment, and producing quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Position: MIG Welder / Fabricator
Location: Mansfield, OH
May support Smithville, OH facility as needed
Pay: $19-$24/hr, based on experience
Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday
Expected Hours: 40-45 hours per week
Openings: Up to 3
Candidates must be willing to work 8-hour, 10-hour, or occasional 12-hour shifts and occasional Saturdays as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform GMAW/MIG welding on metal components and finished products.
- Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products.
- Install, repair, and assemble equipment and components as needed.
- Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and product specifications.
- Measure, calculate, and verify material dimensions.
- Conduct quality checks to evaluate weld accuracy, strength, and tolerance.
- Use fabrication tools, welding equipment, and shop machinery safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of fabrication experience required.
- Previous welding, fabrication, manufacturing, or related experience.
- Strong GMAW/MIG welding skills required.
- GTAW/TIG welding experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
- Familiarity with welding and fabrication tools, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to measure materials and verify specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to handle a physical workload.
- Must be available to work day shift and overtime as needed.
- Steel-toe or composite-toe footwear required for onsite interviews and work.
