Our client is seeking an Electrical PCB Design Engineer with 3–6 years of experience designing, testing, and validating printed circuit board assemblies for regulated manufacturing environments. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on PCB design, schematic capture, test development, and product validation. The ideal candidate has experience developing test protocols and scripts while working in industries such as aerospace, defense, or medical devices where reliability and quality are critical.
Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop PCBAs, including 4–6 layer PCB layouts and electrical schematics.

  • Create and execute circuit-level and final functional testing to validate product performance.

  • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot test protocols, automated test scripts, and validation procedures.

  • Utilize a variety of electrical test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, power supplies, and other diagnostic tools.

  • Perform debugging and root cause analysis of hardware and PCBA issues.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support product development, manufacturing, and design improvements.

  • Document designs, test results, and engineering changes while ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.

  • Support prototype builds, verification testing, and new product introductions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

  • 3–6 years of experience in PCB and electronic hardware design.

  • Experience with schematic capture and 4–6 layer PCB layout.

  • Hands-on experience performing circuit testing, final functional testing, and product validation.

  • Experience developing test protocols, test scripts, and automated or semi-automated test procedures.

  • Proficient with electrical test equipment including oscilloscopes, DMMs, logic analyzers, function generators, and power supplies.

  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills for electronic hardware.

  • Experience working within regulated industries such as aerospace, DoD, defense, or medical devices is strongly preferred.

  • Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM), IPC standards, and engineering documentation is a plus.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing engineering team developing advanced electronic products in a collaborative, hands-on environment. The position offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and long-term career growth in Brooksville, FL.
