Kelly Outsourcing Consulting Group Kelly OCG, a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Sr Technician, Bioanalytical Scientist for a long-term engagement at one of our Global pharmaceutical clients in Somerset, NJ.
Schedule: M-F, 1st shift
Location: Somerset, NJ
Compensation: $29.00-$37.00
SUMMARY
The Senior Technician performs all tasks a technician can perform. The focus is on bioanalysis and validation studies. The Senior Technician is able to independently execute his or her tasks and is involved in coordinating and coaching technicians. The Senior technician is described as a practical problem solver and has extensive knowledge of company processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- All Tasks and Responsibilities of a Technician (STYR 4)
- Coordination of the execution of a bioanalysis or validation study
- Can mentor an MBO intern
- Involved in training new employees
- Can be a System Manager of laboratory equipment
- Performs transfers/method development under supervision of an (Associate) Scientist
- Can be involved in the implementation of new equipment
- Demonstrates a good understanding of validation principles and bioanalytical workflows.
- Developing moderate capability to explain complex concepts and share knowledge effectively.
- Quickly adjusts to changing priorities, new technologies, and evolving project requirements.
- Shows strong ownership of tasks and projects, ensuring compliance and reliability.
- Provides guidance and support to colleagues.
- Capable of organizing activities to meet project goals.
- Maintains high standards in all deliverables, with strong attention to detail and compliance.
- Able to identify and resolve issues within bioanalytical and validation processes.
- Developing problem-solving skills specific to method development challenges under supervision.
- Effectively prioritizes tasks and meets deadlines under pressure
QUALIFICATIONS
- Medium or High professional level of laboratory related education or Master of Science (HBO/MSc)
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in a regulated environment (GLP/GxP preferred)
- LCMS for the bioanalysis of both large and small molecules preferred
- LCMS for the bioanalysis of both large and small molecules preferred
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Dutch is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
