Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM–9:30 PM
Training: Must be available to train on 1st shift for several weeks. 1st shift training hours are Mon-Fri 5:30AM-2PM

Position Overview

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in maximizing equipment uptime by performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on a variety of manufacturing equipment. This is a hands-on role requiring strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, particularly on plastic injection molding equipment and other industrial machinery.

The ideal candidate is experienced in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems while working independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems on manufacturing equipment, including plastic injection molding machines.
  

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize machine uptime and equipment reliability.
  

• Troubleshoot electrical control systems, including contactors, relays, PLCs, VFDs, sensors, power supplies, and other industrial controls.
  

• Repair and maintain electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
  

• Assist with dismantling, assembling, and installing industrial machinery.
  

• Troubleshoot and modify programmable controllers (PLCs).
  

• Partner with production teams to improve equipment performance, output, and efficiency.
  

• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen events and process improvements.
  

• Coordinate with vendors for equipment repairs and service quotes as needed.
  

• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, GMP compliance, and 5S workplace organization.
  

• Follow all company safety policies and support a safe manufacturing environment.
  

• Assist with additional maintenance projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  

• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  

• 4+ years of industrial electrical experience working with:
  

  • 480 VAC
    

  • 277 VAC
    

  • 208/120 VAC
    

  
  

• 4+ years of experience with industrial electrical controls, including:
  

  • PLCs
    

  • VFDs
    

  • Contactors
    

  • Relays
    

  • Sensors
    

  • Power supplies
    

  • SCR power controllers
    

  
  

• Strong troubleshooting experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  

• Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
  

• Industrial forklift experience.
  

• Experience with Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  

• Self-motivated with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

• Certified Electrician.
  

• Experience with automation maintenance and repair.
  

• Welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) and fabrication experience.
  

• CNC programming and machining experience.
  

• Preventive and Predictive Maintenance (CMMS/TPM).
  

• FANUC or Universal Robot troubleshooting.
  

• Injection molding equipment maintenance experience.
  

• Metal Injection Molding (MIM) equipment experience.
  

• Cooling tower, water treatment, or wastewater systems experience.
  

• SolidWorks or AutoCAD knowledge.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds.
  

• Stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods (8+ hours).
  

• Work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, or aerial lifts.
  

• Wear required PPE, including safety toe shoes, safety glasses, and GMP apparel.
  

• Comfortable working in a loud manufacturing environment with exposure to oils, lubricants, solvents, plastics, and other industrial materials.
