We’re seeking a Supply Management Planner to work at a premier manufacturing client in Rock Island, IL. Sound good? Take a closer look below. Pay Rate: $24.50 per hour (2-year Contract)
Shift: 1st shift, any 8-hour shift between 6 am and 5 pm, no overtime but if requested it would be minimal OT hours

What’s a typical day as Supply Management Planner? You’ll be:
- Managing the day-to-day performance and relationships of suppliers for several assigned commodities to support factory operations
- Executing planning activities in a supply chain of low complexity, primarily impacting your own organization/unit
- Maintaining regular contact with business-critical suppliers and responding to incidents to analyze performance and provide feedback
- Collecting and collating key market and supplier information to support senior decision-making
- Reviewing operations and supporting new ideas to identify continuous improvements
- Gathering and reporting on contract performance as input for negotiations or renegotiations
- Managing inventory for a site or factory, escalating discrepancies as needed, and following established procedures
- Supporting stakeholder engagement through scheduling actions, meetings, and events
- Developing your own capabilities through ongoing training, coaching, and industry education
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience (required)
- Bring at least 3 years of experience as a planner (preferred), though recent graduates are welcome to apply
- Possess proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; SAP experience is a plus
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills and are easily trainable
- Have experience with web-based supply management tools (SPERT, ZMDelinq, and Lights SAP) or are willing to learn
- Are detail-oriented, highly motivated, and capable of working onsite in a fast-paced environment
- Are authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship
