Financial Accounting Analyst
(Temp-to-Hire) Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Burlington, MA (On-Site)
Payrate: $43.00 per hour DOE
Applicants must be U.S. Citizens and eligible to obtain a Government Security Clearance.
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Accounting Analyst to join their finance team in Burlington, MA. This on-site, temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional with experience in financial analysis, cost accounting, budgeting, and accounts receivable. The successful candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations while assisting with financial reporting and contract-related accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and track contract-related financial information, labor costs, travel expenses, and other direct costs.
- Create and process purchase requests and purchase orders for vendors and subcontractors.
- Review and approve vendor invoices and expense reports
- Assist with monthly reporting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Prepare customer invoices and support Accounts Receivable activities.
- Process AR, AP, Daily Cash Reconciliation, Cash Receipts
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of financial transactions and reporting. [
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of Accounting and finance experience with strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check and credit check.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
