Warehouse / Distribution Associate (2nd Shift)
Pay: $23.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Interview Type: Onsite
Position Summary
We are seeking reliable and experienced warehouse professionals to support distribution center operations. This role involves material handling, forklift operation, inventory control, equipment operation, and general warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must have strong SAP experience, a commitment to safety, and the ability to consistently meet productivity and attendance expectations.
Required Qualifications
• Experience with SAP in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Experience in distribution, warehousing, inventory control, or logistics operations.
• Experience using RF scanners (RF guns).
• Experience operating electric and/or propane forklifts.
• Inventory Specialist, Inventory Control, or Warehouse Coordinator experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform inventory transactions and material movements using SAP and RF scanning systems.
• Receive, store, pick, pack, stage, and ship materials accurately.
• Load and unload trailers and transport materials throughout the facility.
• Conduct inventory counts and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Operate warehouse and production equipment as assigned.
• Maintain accurate records, complete required paperwork, and update system transactions.
• Support housekeeping efforts and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures.
• Assist with additional warehouse, production, and general labor duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, and reach throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment that may be dusty or dirty.
• Must be able to pass Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification and training.
Skills & Competencies
• SAP proficiency required.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to consistently meet performance, quality, and attendance expectations.
Education
• High School Diploma or GED required.
Additional Requirements
• Steel-toed shoes required.
• Must be able to work safely and effectively in a warehouse/distribution environment.
