The Materials Management and Logistics Specialist III oversees the development and execution of supply chain inventory strategies for assigned commodities, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and effective supplier relationships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage inventory strategies for assigned commodities.
- Monitor inventory levels, analyze consumption data, and process orders as needed.
- Recommend supply chain process improvements and ensure end user satisfaction.
- Oversee quality, timeliness, and performance of material supply and suppliers.
- Maintain accurate material records in SAP and participate in system testing.
- Coordinate with warehouse, engineering, and project teams for material management.
- Communicate project material needs and timelines to suppliers.
- Ensure supplier compliance with contract terms.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in materials management, procurement, or supply chain.
- Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP platforms.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience in the utility or energy sector preferred.
