Pay: $28.00–$35.00/hour (DOE)

Schedule

We are hiring for both shifts:

  • 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

  • 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM–12:00 AM

Candidates hired for 2nd shift will complete 4–6 months of training on 1st shift before transitioning.

Position Summary

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role supports both maintenance and manufacturing teams in achieving production goals while maintaining a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production and facility equipment.

  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and utility systems.

  • Maintain building systems including steam, water, compressed air, HVAC, and refrigeration.

  • Use the CMMS to document maintenance activities and prioritize work orders.

  • Assist with equipment installation, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Coordinate with contractors and support manufacturing and engineering teams.

  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized facility.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.

  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

  • Experience with production equipment, pipefitting, compressed gas, liquid systems, and HVAC.

  • Willingness to become forklift certified.

  • Positive attitude, strong teamwork, and excellent time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Boiler license

  • Ammonia refrigeration experience

  • Fabrication/welding skills

  • Refinery or chemical manufacturing experience

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent walking, bending, lifting, and carrying materials up to 50 lbs. Work is performed in an industrial manufacturing environment and may include exposure to varying temperatures, noise, chemicals, heights, and confined spaces. Proper use of required PPE and adherence to all safety procedures is essential.
