Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $19.00/hour Depend on experience

Shift: Mon-Thursday 7am-4pm, Fri- 7am-1pm

What’s a typical day as a Quality Control Inspector – Cable Assemblies? You’ll be:

  • Accepting or rejecting products, materials, or articles, and documenting non-conformances to engineering specifications and standards

  • Notifying appropriate personnel of potential rejection items and reporting discrepancies to supervision and management

  • Completing detailed inspection reports and logs for multiple product lines

  • Performing mathematical functions for weight measurements, torque conversions, and dimensional accuracy

  • Conducting visual inspections, continuity and resistance testing on cables, harnesses, and connectors

  • Ensuring proper maintenance and accuracy of measurement equipment

  • Tracking and recording job progress and deficiencies in written and electronic formats

  • Entering product information, traceability data, labor hours, and other statistics into company computer databases

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have prior experience in electronic assembly, quality assurance, or as a Quality Control Inspector

  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (required)

  • Possess keen attention to detail and a strong focus on quality

  • Can work independently with minimal supervision

  • Are proficient with data entry and comfortable using computers

  • Can read and interpret detailed work instructions, drawings, schematics, and specifications

  • Have IPC Certification to standard 620 and/or J-STD-001 (preferred)

  • Are able to accurately use measuring tools and perform basic mathematical calculations

  • Can bend, stoop, reach, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, and lift up to 30 pounds
