Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:

$19.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Shift: Mon-Thursday 7am-4pm, Friday 7am-1pm

Willingness to work OT to support surge activities

What’s a typical day as Quality Control Inspector (Fiber and IBA)? You’ll be:

  • Accepting or rejecting products, materials, or articles, and documenting non-conformances per engineering standards

  • Inspecting all incoming outside process items, in-process assemblies, purchased items for the IBA product line, and all fiber for IBA production units and RMAs

  • Reporting discrepancies to supervision and management and supporting kitting, incoming/outgoing inspection for IBA RMAs, and final inspections

  • Performing mathematical functions for weight, torque conversions, and dimensional measurements using various measuring tools

  • Maintaining and operating measurement equipment accurately

  • Tracking and recording job progress and deficiencies in both written and electronic formats

  • Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by following established standards and procedures

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have prior experience in electronic assembly, quality assurance, or as a quality control inspector (required)

  • Possess keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality

  • Can work independently with minimal supervision

  • Are proficient with data entry and comfortable using computer systems

  • Can read and interpret work instructions, drawings, schematics, and specifications

  • Hold an IPC Certification to standard 620 and/or J-STD-001 (required)

  • Are capable of using measuring tools and performing basic mathematical calculations

  • Can bend, stoop, reach, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, and lift up to 30 pounds

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
