Assembly Worker 1st Shift– Brighton, MI
Pay Rate: $18.25/Hr.| Start: ASAP | Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: M–F, 6 A-2:30P (Sat as required)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
**Please Note* This position is a very physically demanding job.
- Read and understand a job traveler
- Read specifications carefully
- Know what film to use for specific molds
- Change film rolls as needed
- Adjust foam amount and understand how much foam is needed to fill a mold
- Assist in change-over
- Adjust the amount of foam that shoots depending on the part
- Check for properly made cushions
- Perform housekeeping duties, including the removal and replacement of scrap
- Keep foam guns clean and clear of blockage
- Keep track of waste
- Identify any problems relating to products
Requirements:
- Wearing own steel toed boots
- Reading and writing skills
- Basic computer skills and understanding
- Must be motivated and willing to learn new tasks
- Team environment
- Able to work in a fast-paced work setting
- 2 years of machine operation experience is preferred, but not required
- Experience working with foam is a plus
Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
