Salary: $85,000 – $92,000 per year

Shift: multi-shift cell, Flexible to adjust work schedule based on operational needs

What’s a typical day as Production Coordinator? You’ll be:

  • Fostering a proactive, safety-first culture by engaging employees and leading continuous safety improvements.

  • Coordinating all activities from post-order entry through shipment preparation, including creating work orders, establishing production schedules, and ensuring material availability.

  • Communicating production updates and changes across finance, operations, sales, and customer service teams.

  • Managing, supervising, and developing non-exempt production operators—handling selection, onboarding, training, and performance management.

  • Maintaining visibility and approachability on the production floor to build trust and encourage open communication.

  • Ensuring adherence to quality standards, escalating concerns, and implementing corrective actions.

  • Driving process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and 5S strategies.

  • Collaborating with internal teams to support new product development and raw material changes.

  • Assisting with scheduling prioritization to maximize equipment utilization and efficiency.

  • Performing additional tasks as needed to support overall business needs.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing operations and production supervision, or a combination of education and 6 years of relevant experience.

  • Bring experience in production scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, quality control, and workplace safety.

  • Possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Are proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with 5S strategies is preferred.

  • Are flexible and able to adjust your work schedule based on operational needs.

  • Are comfortable working onsite in a manufacturing facility, including frequent movement between office and production areas, and wearing PPE as required.
