Job Title: Assembler II
Location: Rumford RI 02916
Shift: Monday – Friday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3rd Shift)
Pay Rate: $19.46 per hour

Summary:
The Assembler II position encompasses the assembly of diverse subassemblies and/or finalized products for general purpose machines. Core duties involve conducting functional tests to ensure compliance with specifications, executing quality checks, and ensuring punctual deliveries. Reports directly to the Production Supervisor.

Essential Functions:

  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines

  • Interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions

  • Assemble various components using hand and power tools, feeler gauges, arbor presses, and hand trucks

  • Verify dimensional specifications, alignment, and functionality

  • Perform intermediate mechanical adjustments and alignments

  • Perform operating tests per product checklists

  • Interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

  • Install electrical components (switches, sensors, connectors, wiring harnesses)

  • Conduct visual inspections of assembled components

  • Identify and rectify discrepancies or defects

  • Document assembly processes, test results, and quality issues

  • Maintain effective communication

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment (including 6S)

  • Record production data daily

Position Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Two plus years of experience

  • Electrical and mechanical experience required

  • Machine building experience a plus

  • Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office

Contractor is responsible for wearing their own steel toed boots; other PPE required for tasks will be provided onsite.
