Kelly Services is seeking a qualified 1st and 2nd shift candidate for a Medical Device Assembly role!  This is a excellent opportunity with one of our clients in Irvine, CAmanufacturing cutting edge medical devices that help improve patient outcomes around the world!

Shift Times and Pay Rates: 

  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday-Friday – $21 per hour

  • 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM, Monday-Friday – $22.50 per hour

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Assemble medical device components using hand tools, fixtures, and specialized equipment

  • Follow detailed assembly instructions, manufacturing processes, and work procedures

  • Inspect and test products to ensure quality standards are met

  • Work with small components and precision tools 

  • Perform assembly tasks under a microscope when required

  • Maintain compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory procedures

  • Report issues related to quality, materials, equipment, or processes

  • Keep workstations clean, organized, and inspection-ready

  • Support team members through training and knowledge sharing as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Manufacturing or assembly experience

  • Experience working in a cleanroom environment

  • Medical device manufacturing experience

  • Experience using microscopes for detailed assembly work

  • Familiarity with basic measuring tools such as rulers, scales, and metric measurements

Ideal Candidates:

  • Have experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment 

  • Possess strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions

  • Are able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks

  • Are reliable, punctual, and eager to learn new skills
