Pay Rate: $26.20 per hour
Shift: 3rd Shift
Schedule: 3rd Shift Schedule: 11:30 PM – 7:30 AM Sun–Thurs
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support our manufacturing and packaging operations on the 3rd shift. This position is responsible for operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment, supplying production machines with materials, supporting shipping and receiving activities, and maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
The ideal candidate has experience operating forklifts and working around automated production equipment and is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Job Functions
- Safely operate automated production machines and equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and required training.
- Operate forklifts, walk-behind equipment, and other powered industrial trucks and material-handling devices.
- Supply production machines with individual components and materials to maintain efficient operations.
- Deliver palletized packaging materials and bulk lighters to production areas in a timely manner.
- Perform required quality checks according to established standards.
- Complete and maintain required quality documentation, production records, and shift reports.
- Support shipping and receiving activities as needed to meet production requirements and operational goals.
- Perform general housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and operational guidelines.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience safely operating forklifts in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment.
- Experience working with high-speed, automated production machinery preferred.
- Ability to operate a forklift and successfully complete 29 CFR 1910.178 Powered Industrial Truck Training, as required by company policy.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and MRP systems.
- Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment and meet operational goals.
