Job Summary:
Seeking a detail-oriented Sr. Data Entry Operator for an onsite, first-shift role in Boston, MA. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a front desk academic environment, excel at multitasking, and are committed to data accuracy and excellent service. Responsibilities include supporting student and staff services, managing enrollment and I-9 forms, handling confidential documents, and performing high-volume data entry. The successful candidate demonstrates efficiency, attention to detail, and outstanding organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a welcoming first point of contact for students, staff, faculty, and visitors; answer inquiries and provide helpful guidance

  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and interdepartmental correspondence

  • Process and review enrollment and I-9 forms in compliance with policies and procedures

  • Perform high-volume data entry into internal systems while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity

  • Scan, file, print, copy, and electronically manage documents, ensuring organized and secure digital records

  • Prepare and address envelopes, labels, form letters, and official correspondence for various departments

  • Format and proofread reports, spreadsheets, and other documents for accuracy and professionalism

  • Detect, report, and correct data errors and inconsistencies

  • Provide administrative support and general clerical assistance as needed

  • Operate and maintain standard office equipment, including photocopiers, fax machines, and binding machines

  • Consistently follow written and verbal instructions and uphold confidentiality and compliance standards

Requirements:

  • Onsite attendance required (no remote work)

  • Prior data entry or clerical experience in an academic or professional setting preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database management systems

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information

  • Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills

  • Ability to perform basic math calculations and follow procedures accurately
