Job Title: Production Operator
Company: Kelly Services
Location: Onsite – Tiffin, OH
Compensation: $18.50/hour
Shift: 3rd Shift (Sunday – Thursday, 9:30 PM – 6:00 AM)
Training: Must be available to train on 1st shift (6:15 AM) the first day; transition to 3rd shift on the second day.


About the Role:
Kelly Services is seeking a dependable and motivated Production Operator to join our team in Tiffin, OH. You will play a vital role in fiberglass production and ensure products meet high-quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Train initially on 1st shift; transition to 3rd shift for ongoing work

  • Work at presses, assist machine operators, and operate production equipment

  • Remove parts from presses, assemble components, separate parts from scrap, and package parts according to specs

  • Follow all safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment as required

  • Maintain productivity and accuracy goals (100% of target)

  • Prepare packaging materials (totes, skids, bags, boxes), label and organize finished products

  • Keep the work area clean and safe at all times

  • Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and job procedures

  • Report unsafe conditions or situations immediately

  • Collaborate effectively in a team environment

  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

Requirements:

  • Comfortable working with fiberglass and in a production environment

  • Ability to read, write, and interpret documents (e.g., safety rules, instructions, blueprints)

  • Effective communication with team members and supervisors

  • Basic math skills and ability to use a tape measure

  • Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent

  • 3-6 months of relevant experience or training, or equivalent combination of education/experience

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

  • Stand/walk for 8–12 hours per shift

  • Regular bending, twisting, turning, and handling of materials

  • Ability to work in moderate noise and near moving mechanical parts

  • Must have full use of both hands, good close/distance vision
