Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
$19.50 per hour
Shift:
7am – 7pm 2/2/3 schedule

What’s a typical day as Machine Operator? You’ll be:
- Receiving finished plastic sheeting out of the extruder, stacking pallets neatly, and marking sheet counts
- Replacing rolls of tape, protective covering, barcodes, and other materials as needed
- Completing Light Transmission and Product Control tests and making necessary adjustments
- Performing length/width and pallet changes, as well as silo setup and operation of raw materials
- Assisting with color changes, basic machine maintenance and cleaning, start-up and shut-down procedures, and thickness changes
- Conducting yellow tagging procedures and maintaining documentation
- Carrying out other duties and activities as directed
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Can accurately read a metric tape measure and perform basic math skills (must have)
- Are able to lift up to 40 lbs. repeatedly and are comfortable standing, walking, bending, twisting, and reaching throughout the shift (must have)
- Possess strong time management skills and enjoy working as part of a team (must have)
- Are eager to learn and grow in an entry-level manufacturing environment
