Turret Operator Temp to Hire position

Location: Canton, OH

Hourly Wage: $20–$23 
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:30am–3:30pm (Four-day work week)
Overtime may be required on Fridays

Duties & Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC turret machinery safely and efficiently
  

• Manufacture parts from sheet metal in compliance with production plans and schedules
  

• Properly load tooling and sheet metal, following established procedures
  

• Read and interpret production drawings, prints, and work instructions
  

• Utilize measuring tools (e.g., calipers, tape measures) to verify material gauges
  

• Inspect finished work for accuracy and completeness
  

• Identify various materials, including steel, aluminum, and galvanized sheet metal
  

• Adhere to standard shop practices and verbal instructions
  

• Maintain safety standards and follow company procedures
  

• Physically able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. unaided

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
  

• 1–2 years CNC turret operation experience preferred
  

• Ability to read and understand documents, production drawings, and instructions in English
  

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to carry out instructions in written, verbal, or diagram form
  

• Safety- and quality-oriented, accountable, reliable, productive, ethical
  

• Strong communication skills, innovative, team player, positive attitude

• $2,000 Sign-on Bonus ($1,000 after 6 months; $1,000 after 1 year)
