Turret Operator Temp to Hire position
Location: Canton, OH
Hourly Wage: $20–$23
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:30am–3:30pm (Four-day work week)
Overtime may be required on Fridays
Duties & Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC turret machinery safely and efficiently
- Manufacture parts from sheet metal in compliance with production plans and schedules
- Properly load tooling and sheet metal, following established procedures
- Read and interpret production drawings, prints, and work instructions
- Utilize measuring tools (e.g., calipers, tape measures) to verify material gauges
- Inspect finished work for accuracy and completeness
- Identify various materials, including steel, aluminum, and galvanized sheet metal
- Adhere to standard shop practices and verbal instructions
- Maintain safety standards and follow company procedures
- Physically able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. unaided
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1–2 years CNC turret operation experience preferred
- Ability to read and understand documents, production drawings, and instructions in English
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to carry out instructions in written, verbal, or diagram form
- Safety- and quality-oriented, accountable, reliable, productive, ethical
- Strong communication skills, innovative, team player, positive attitude

- $2,000 Sign-on Bonus ($1,000 after 6 months; $1,000 after 1 year)
