Pay Rate: $19.32/hour
Employment Type: Temporary to potential hire
Join the Department of Periodontics at a prestigious university in the University Circle area! Our client is seeking a Department Assistant for a temporary-to-potential-hire opportunity, where you will support faculty, staff, and students with daily administrative tasks such as document preparation, purchasing, record keeping, and scheduling.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and edit materials, reports, and correspondence
- Manage purchasing, accounts payable, and P-card transactions
- Organize interviews and support in course management and posting grades
- Maintain program manuals and track grant documentation
- Liaise with university offices and vendors; share information with department members
- Assist with additional administrative duties as needed
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years secretarial/administrative experience; research administration preferred
- High school diploma required; some college preferred
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
- Proficient with MS Office; willing to learn new technologies
