Location: Goodyear, AZ 85338
Schedule & Pay:
- Training: $18/hour — First Shift (5:00 AM – 2:30 PM) for 2 weeks
- Regular: $20/hour — Second Shift (Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM)
Job Summary:
The Assembler is responsible for assembling parts and products under general supervision according to established procedures. This position is vital to ensuring quality, safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble sub-assemblies and accessory components; wire basic electrical connections per diagrams
- Perform work in accordance with the Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and Code of Conduct
- Inspect products to ensure quality and engineering standards are met
- Operate hand tools, including electrical and pneumatic power tools
- Load, unload, lift, and move materials using lifting equipment when available
- Read and interpret job orders, schematics, and blueprints
- Complete and maintain required paperwork and electronic records, including checklists and barcoding
- Maintain departmental housekeeping and adhere to 5S standards
Physical Requirements:
- Stand and walk on concrete for up to 100% of the workday
- Bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs unaided; heavier loads with assistance
- Climb and maintain balance
- Use hands for detailed work and tool handling
- Visually inspect products for quality
- Manual dexterity required for tool use
Skills & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1–3 years of manufacturing or construction experience (framing experience is a plus)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tape measures
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills
- Basic ability to read, speak, and understand English
