Job Title: Forklift Associate
Location: Skaneateles, NY
Shift: 2:55 PM – 11:25 PM (Monday – Friday)
Pay: $21.40/hr
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Forklift Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating material handling equipment, a strong commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in accordance with company policies.
- Read and interpret technical documents and inventory records.
- Accurately pick, pack, and move inventory to designated areas.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and supervisors.
- Complete documentation and record-keeping using basic computer applications.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.
- Provide support and guidance to less experienced team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable with prolonged standing, walking, bending, squatting, climbing, and repetitive tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Willingness to work in environments with varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
