Syracuse, NY
Pay Rate: $20-22/hr
1st Shift: Monday-Friday
- Schedule flexibility required. 7:00am–3:30pm or 8:00am–4:30pm
What’s a typical day as Warehouse Technician? You’ll be:
- Loading and unloading materials, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Covering Warehouse Supervisor responsibilities as needed
- Utilizing Microsoft Office and basic computer skills for warehouse functions
- Completing NAV entries for receiving and inventory reconciliation with accounting
- Scheduling shipments using UPS/FedEx and other online platforms
- Driving a box truck to pick up materials from offsite warehouses
- Receiving, selecting, and preparing materials for relocation to end users
- Ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation
- Performing inventory control, cycle counts, and reconciliation activities
- Inspecting and processing returned materials appropriately
- Maintaining organized warehouse locations and ensuring adherence to operational procedures
- Participating in cross-training and project work as required
- Maintaining a clean, compliant, and safe work environment
- Communicating delays or variances in shipments to appropriate parties
- Maintaining compliance with SOPs, GMPs, and all company policies
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Bring at least 1 year of experience in warehousing, preferably in a manufacturing or high-volume environment
- Are proficient with general computer functions, including Microsoft Office and spreadsheets
- Can effectively handle multiple projects or tasks within set timeframes
- Demonstrate strong safety awareness and problem-solving skills
- Possess good time management techniques and critical thinking abilities
- Are receptive to feedback, cooperative, and committed to maintaining GMP compliance
- Communicate well and strive for continuous improvement in processes and productivity
