Job Title: Assembly Worker 
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
Shift: 10:15 PM – 6:45 AM Sunday- Thursday
 


Job Summary

Kelly is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembly Worker to join our team on a temporary basis. The contractor Assembler will perform a variety of entry-level assembly tasks at multiple stations to produce high-quality medical devices and equipment, ensuring that all products meet strict quality and regulatory standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assembly Tasks

    • Assemble and test medical devices and components according to established procedures and quality standards.

    • Utilize hand tools, automated machinery, and power tools as required, following GMP and FDA regulations.

    • Assemble electronic components and modules per schematics, diagrams, and instructions.

    • Maintain accurate documentation through Device History Record (DHR) paperwork per unit, following work instruction.


  • Kit Preparation

    • Prepare and organize kits containing all necessary components for assembly.

    • Verify the accuracy of kit contents and replenish as needed.

    • Label and package kits for distribution to other departments or assembly lines.


  • Production Support

    • Handle, store, and maintain materials, parts, and assemblies per provided guidelines.

    • Accurately manage inventory levels; replenish materials as needed.

    • Report any discrepancies or quality issues to Team Leaders.


  • Quality Control

    • Escalate quality issues, defects, or non-conformities promptly.

    • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.


  • Continuous Improvement

    • Complete required training and certifications within set timeframes.

    • Participate in lean manufacturing and efficiency initiatives.


  • Packaging

    • Package and label parts or assemblies for shipment, ensuring protection and completeness.

    • Stack or adjust boxes on pallets to prepare for shipping or storage in compliance with safety standards.


  • Safety Compliance

    • Follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures consistently.

    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with 6S principles.

    • Report all hazards, incidents, and contribute to a zero-harm workplace.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to follow complex instructions and standard procedures.

  • Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.

  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team.

  • Willingness to perform repetitive tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is a plus.
